42nd Street Young Persons Charity

£750k new build on brownfield site
42nd Street is an innovative Greater Manchester young people’s mental health charity with experience of providing confidential services to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

This new centre was borne of a need to transform the way in which the charity managed and delivered its services.

The design and construction delivery was a truly collaborative approach with the design team comprising BGH LLP architects and engineers working with designer Studio Maurice Shapero, Peter Buglass of Custard Pie Properties Ltd and the contractor, City Build Ltd. Winner of numerous design awards including MSA Building of the Year, RICS Community Benefit Award, Chamber of Commerce Building of the Year and Northern Design Best Innovative Design.

An incredible project that delivered on the hard work and effort put in by all the team.
