BGH: Salaam Education & Prayer achieves planning approval

The Salaam Eduction and Prayer Facility on the former site of the Brierfield Public House in Bolton achieved Planning Approval following a long and detailed engagement with the local authority Planning Department. This sensative site had numerous constraints including, on site TPO’s, adjacent listed buildings, overlooking residential properties and local objection.
The intent of the new facility is to engage with the local population with the provision of a nursery and a community hall alongside the prayer and educational spaces. The site benefits from extensive new landscaping to provide a sensitive and welcoming setting and seeks to achieve a sense of place through an iconic design proposal.
