So you want to be an Architect !

It’s great to see our work experience programme swinging back into action again (following a Covid enforced break).  We have been offering work experience opportunties to local schools and colleges for over 25 years providing ourselves with an opportunity to give a little back to the community that supports our Practice. We offer 12 weeks of work experience opportunity every year.  Over the last 10 years we have provided opportunity to over 70 local school and college pupils.

This year we have had enquiries, and will be seeing pupils, from Bolton School, Wigan and Leigh College, Cannon Slade HS, Smithills School, Winstanley College, Rivington and Blackrod HS, Thornleigh College, St James HS and many more.

Aligned to our work experience programme are the bursary opportunities offered by the Bradshaw Gass Trust.  If you are interested in pursuing a career in architecture or complementary design discipline then the Bradshaw Gass Trust can help make that initial step a little easier with the provision of a financial contribution to your educational need. More information on the work of the Bradgass Trust and the educational bursaries they offer can be seen on their website at https://bgtrust.org.uk/.

If you are a school, college or pupil that is interested in architecture, structural engineering or quantity surveying and wish to undertake a week’s work experience with us please do not hesitate to contact our office. Places fill quickly so please contact us as early as possible prior to your placement need.
