Net Zero Carbon Award Nomination

Chester Fire Station, completed in 2021, was Cheshire Fire & Rescue Services first step into delivering a net zero carbon future for their estate. A state of the art community fire station situated in on sensitive site in the heart of Chester. Working with a great team of construction professionals the project has delivered on its promise of an environmentally, economically and socially sustainable future for Cheshire Fire. The project has been shortlisted in the Northwest Regional Construction Awards 2022 in the Net Zero Award and the Cheshire, Wirral and Warrington Sub Regional Project of the Year Award. Developed through the Northwest Construction Hub framework the project saw input from ISG Construction, T Clarke, IKG Consulting, Assent Building Control, Stroma and Tom Claffey Consulting. Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP provided architectural and structural/civil engineering design services from the inception of the project to completion on site.
