The scheme involves the conversion and refurbishment of the existing 4no appliance bay Bramley Fire Station into an Educational Fire Prevention/Teaching Facility, the intention being to re-roof the building and adapt the internal accommodation to provide for the following:-
Main Ground Floor Level of Existing Fire Station
- Presentation Workshop/Seminar Room and supporting domestic accommodation illustrating a range of fire ignition hazards
First Floor Level of existing Fire Station
- Lecture Theatre and supporting administrative offices

- Appropriate welfare facilities at both levels including DDA accommodation
At the rear of the premises, 2-storey atrium to enable the witnessing of fire service attendance scene activities from both ground and balcony levels
