Continued Success at Holy Cross College

Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP has been successful in winning a commission to provide a new £3million teaching block at Holy Cross Sixth Form College, Bury. Our success was based on a competitive fee quotation along with a supporting qualitative bid document that demonstrated to the College the values and commitment that we were capable of bringing to the project.

Holy Cross Sixth Form College provide outstanding educational achievement and are one of the most successful higher education establishments in the country.

The College has had a long and successful working relationship with Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP and it was gratifying that we were chosen by the college to carry out a feasibility study for the provision of new teaching accommodation.

The feasibility was developed and taken to planning by us with a successful outcome announced in early 2009.

As the funding for the scheme was to be through the LSC, and the potential consultant fee level to take the scheme through detail design to completion was beyond that which allowed direct appointment under LSC funding guidelines, a consultant tendering procedure was entered into by the college.

Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP provided a competitive fee and the qualitative support that was required under the strict tendering criteria. Our understanding of the College, its pupils and its staff enabled us to demonstrate the added value that a prolonged relationship between consultant and Client can provide.
