Bury and Rochdale Fire Stations
Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP alongside Kier Northern have won a hard fought contest that saw 99 bidders reduced to 1 to provide new fire stations in Bury and Rochdale.
The project has seen the Design and Build team that successfully delivered Ashton Fire Station for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service combining again to prepare and deliver an unbeatable level of scope and value within their bid proposal.
The new fire stations will provide extensive community facilities, renewable energy solutions and environmental impact reduction technologies, along with the usual operational requirements to allow the fire service to deliver their future strategic requirements that aims for greater pro-activity in engaging preventative measures within fire fighting and a changing role towards urban search and rescue.
The two stations will be the seeking to achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent' classification and will join an elite group of buildings that has attained this; indeed it is an aspiration that one of the stations achieves BREEAM 'Outstanding', a world first!
Bradshaw Gass and Hope LLP's experience in the design and construction of sustainable buildings and BREEAM delivery was a contributing factor to the teams success and will ensure a successful outcome for the stations sustainable aspirations.
Bradshaw Gass and Hope LLP are looking to position themselves as a first choice consultancy within the emergency services sector and with this success a further step has been taken to achieving this goal.
We are looking forward to working with Greater Manchester Fire, Kier Northern, Faithful and Gould and all other partners and participants in the design and build process that will deliver Bury and Rochdale Fire Stations successfully.
