Bolton Sports and Physical Activity Awards
Following the recent successful completion of refurbishment work to Horwich and Farnworth Leisure Centres carried out by Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP an invitation was extended to us to attend the Bolton Sports and Physical Activity Awards.
The Awards are designed to celebrate the achievement of individuals, teams and clubs in Bolton and are given to reflect the growing and important role that sport and physical activity plays in promoting both healthy lifestyles and pride in the community.
Our attendance at the event included David Hamer, Architectural Partner, Sally Anne Beesley, Architect and Helen Smith, Architectural Assistant along with guests and friends.
Our sponsorship of the event saw David Hamer presenting the award for ‘Contribution to School Sport’ which was won by Geoff Watson. We wish him and all other winners and nominees every success in the future and a continued involvement in sport and physical activity in Bolton.
The refurbishments at Horwich and Farnworth Leisure Centres have been a great success and achieved all that the Client, Bolton Community Leisure Trust wanted. The re-opening of the Centres by the Mayor of Bolton is a measure of the importance that health and wellbeing has become in ensuring successful outcomes for the boroughs population and communities.
We would like to extend thanks to all those involved with the projects and the awards evening and we hope to continue our successes with those involved in future projects.
