The schemes comprised a new library and learning resource centre, widespread refurbishments of existing premises, laboratory refurbishments, administration re-planning, Art Department relocation and, latterly, a £2.7m Music, Sport and general teaching block enveloping the existing assembly hall and entrance locations. This is a very tight site with intense H & S issues managed by a teamwork of client, consultant and builder, enabling the continuing function of the college throughout the processes.
