This was a design and build scheme to provide new office accommodation for Wigan MBC and speculative office space for future letting. The Design team was lead by Kier (NW) Ltd Project Management.

The principal was to provide an energy efficient building utilising daylight and natural ventilation to the full. Lighting is controlled by daylight sensors, switching off luminaires automatically to save power. The building was also designed to be flexible in its internal arrangement with an accessible floor and suspended ceilings installed prior to installation of demountable partitions.
